Serena & Lily - Huge Sale & Tons of New Items

The Serena & Lily Friends & Family Sale is on for just a few more days, so I’m trying to be a savvy shopper like my friend Janet who decorated her amazing house in style during the last “Friends & Family” event.  EVERYTHING on their site (or catalog) is 20% off with the code HOMELOVE (only exceptions: art, final sale items & a limited edition bike) if you order before Monday, Oct. 15th at 11:59 PM PST — or Tues 10/16, 2:59 AM for any East Coast insomniac friends!

Here are a few items I’m eyeing - what are your favorites??? Any to recommend from past orders?

1.) The Lanai Mirror.  This is an oldie but a goodie. I have it in our family room in NH & it blends really well with neutrals or some color (I have it with lots of blue, of course!).

I couldn’t find photo of that room, so am sharing this beautiful image from Stewart Interiors via Instagram:

2.) I am obsessed with this Oxford Stripe bed skirt!  I know it’s strange to love a bed skirt, but tell me this wouldn’t look amazing with a crisp white bedspread?! My mom always made our bedskirts with leftover fabrics from client projects & they looked so original - I remember especially some pretty Cowtan & Tout floral ones….So this could be my attempt to bring some of that back in my home, instead of all the generic white ones I have...

3.) I adore the Dauphine Floor Lamp, which looks much more expensive than $400, doesn’t it??  It has a kind of Giacometti feel to it…modern and classical at the same time.

4) South Seas Side Cart — another old standby, I can think of a million ways to use this…as a bar, obviously, but also for extra serving ware near Dining room….

…or charming as an end table & for books!

5. The new Milo Alpaca Throw looks incredibly soft but in a darker color could stand up to my dogs or spilled coffee…

6. I think the Market Side Table  is charming! They show it on the website as a nightstand but I think that’s too low. But perfect as a little drinks table or for glasses & a book. It also comes in white….

Okay, those are just a few things that caught my eye. Gotta make some decisions now!

I’ll be heading to High Point, North Carolina as part of Esteem Media’s Fall Blogger Tour  next week, so I’ll be reporting back with lots of news and exciting updates soon.

Cheers to a happy Fall,
